Sunscreen must contain at least 20% zinc oxide to be effective - Surfpaste has 38% and is reef-safe and low PUFA.

Prefer untinted sunscreen?

Surfpaste is a great light tan colour, which works for most skin tones, and is especially useful for those who dislike the white cast that most zinc oxide sunscreens impart.

Ladies, it can be used as your sunscreen, concealer and foundation; it's an all-in-one product, similar to a BB Cream but more effective in providing sun protection.

It is easy to apply, stays on for hours and will not permanently stain your clothes.

Why natural sunscreen can be problematic

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil*, Zinc Oxide (Non - Nano), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter*, Copernicia Cerifera Cera (Carnauba) wax*, Cocoa (Powder)*, hydrogenated Ricinus Communis (Castor)* Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter *, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed (Jojoba) Oil*, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil*, Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Iron Oxides CI.77491; CI.77492; CI.77499.

* Certified organic.

Surfpaste is designed to withstand high temperatures and not be too liquid, so before applying to your face, blend a small amount on the back of your hand with your fingertips to dissolve the beads of carnauba wax.

These beads of wax are used instead of beeswax, making it a vegan product.

Surfpaste Tinted Sunscreen SPF30+ has been tested in Australia and complies with the Australian Standard as a high protection broad-spectrum sunscreen.

As with all sunscreens you should be reapplying Surfpaste every 2 hours for maximum sun protection.

I now love this Surfpaste. I bought the sample size to begin with and now purchased the full size. I wasn't sure the first couple of times I used it as it is quite thick but it goes on great using your fingers and It looks so natural. The only thing I would change is, I think it would be better in a jar rather than in a tube as when I come to the end of the tube it will be difficult to get all of the product out, due to it's consistency.

The only sunscreen I will use

As to be expected ... another fantastic product from Absolutely Pure. I have been looking for a good quality sunscreen that has a tint and can replace my foundation (I do not like to apply too many products on my face). This product is the perfect solution for me. I cannot rate it highly enough. Absolutely Pure's face oil on a clean face, this sunscreen on top, then some mascara and lipstick is all I need to look and feel put together. Bonus ... I have had quite a few compliments about my skin since using this tinted sunscreen. Thank you!

Tinted Sun Face Protection

Really like this. You can use it just as face protection on days where you don't want to have the hassle of using foundation, but it still looks like you do. Sometimes I wear it instead of my foundation as it looks really nice on.
