ABSOLUTELY PURE Organic Skin Food
The whole-food of skin care!
This is how people cared for their skin before petro-chemicals and the advent of the cosmetics industry.
Skin Food is hand-crafted with tallow from grass-fed UK cows for its superior moisturising properties and ability to slow transdermal water-loss.
Low in PUFA, high in vitamins A, D, E and K and the potent nutrient CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) to nourish your skin, improve hydration, strengthen and maintain integrity of cells, reduce your risk of developing liver spots and premature ageing.
Lots of saturated fatty goodness for dry and dehydrated skin with the lovely floral aroma of rose geranium - also available unscented for those who are sensitive to essential oils.
A jar lasts an incredibly long time because only a tiny amount is required - you'll be amazed at just how little you need.
To personalise it - depending on what your skin needs from day to day - try it with a spritz of Floral Water and apply while face is still damp; alternatively put a little in your palm, spritz Floral Water on top and blend with with fingertips before applying to your face, neck and décolleté.

The babassu palm tree is native to the coastal areas of north eastern Brazil and other regions of South America.
- Babassu oil has great emollient characteristics which are suitable for both dry and oily skin. Although the properties of Babassu oil are similar to coconut oil, Babassu oil is less oily on the skin. For this reason it is actually preferred by those with an oilier complexion.
- The skin loving properties of Babassu oil come from its fatty acid makeup of: lauric acid 50%, myristic acid 20%, palmitic acid 11%, oleic acid 10%, and stearic acid 3.5%. Lauric and myristic acid both have melting points close to that of human body temperature.
- Rich in vitamin E and phytosterols, these properties add to the benefits of Babassu oil by contributing to its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects.
- An interesting feature which adds to the benefits of Babassu oil is that because the oil’s melting point is close to that of human skin, the oil can have a cooling sensation as it draws heat from your body. This characteristic may be helpful when soothing rashes and other inflammatory conditions.
Macadamia's high conjugated linoleic fatty acid content makes it great for skin that has difficulty retaining moisture as it helps to prevent trans-epidermal water loss.
Macadamia oil also contains one of the highest sources of palmitoleic fatty acids (between 16 and 23%) - vital for minimising skin damage and avoiding premature ageing. When the oil is applied topically it improves the skin’s palmitoleic acid levels. This decreases the rate at which skin deteriorates, keeping it taut and discouraging wrinkles from forming. As your skin ages it rapidly becomes depleted in this important fatty acid, which is why macadamia is the perfect inclusion for mature skins.
