Healthy Cooking Fats

 

Beef tallow (grass-fed), organic ghee (make your own, it's cheaper and very easy to do), coconut oil and cocoa butter are the healthiest fats to cook with.

Lard, duck and goose fat are best avoided as they are too high in PUFA. 

Olive oil in small amounts is ok to add to food after it's been cooked, macadamia is a better choice.
