Unlike fish oils, AUUM Omega 3 is a mammalian form, closely resembling the natural form of Omega 3 found in breast milk where a 1:1 ratio of Omega 6:Omega 3 is the rule.  Many researchers now believe Omega 3 from fish oils may well be the CAUSE of many inflammatory conditions due to its unbalanced ratio of Omega 6:Omega 3 - usually 6:1 or 10:1
AUUM provides an ESSENTIAL component of the Omega 3 family that is actually MISSING in plant and fish oil preparations - DPA   (Docosapentanoeic Acid)
 
There are three main components to Omega 3:-
DHA (Docosahexanoeic Acid) which is plentiful in plant oils.
EPA (Eicosapentanoeic Acid) is plentiful in fish oils (fish eat the algae that produce the DHA).
DPA (Docosapentanoeic Acid) is present in human breast milk in significant and almost equal amounts as DHA.
  
Assimilation of AUUM Omega 3 into the body is more efficient than fish oils.  In AUUM Omega 3 the DHA and EPA are located primarily in the terminal positions of the triglyceride molecules, as they are in the human body. In fish oils these molecules are preferentially present in the middle positions of the triglyceride molecule.
 
Careful selection of raw materials and specialized processing ensures AUUM Omega 3 retains very high concentrations of DPA.
This critical component cannot be synthesized in our bodies.

THE OMEGA 3 IN AUUM SUBLINGUAL-D IS ABSORBED MORE FULLY AND RAPIDLY THAN THAT FROM OTHER SOURCES VIA SUBLINGUAL ADSORPTION.
Held under the tongue for 30 -45 seconds Omega 3 and dissolved Vitamin D3 diffuse into an area with a high density of blood vessels. Via osmosis these vital nutrients quickly enter the sublingual artery which connects to the lingual artery then the carotid artery which connects directly to the brain.
This ensures that the Omega 3 will only come in contact with the enzymes in saliva prior to entry into the bloodstream. Otherwise as much as 60% of a substance can be degraded by enzymes (monamine oxidase) or other digestive enzymes in the gastro intestinal tract.

In June 2007, The Canadian Cancer Society began recommending that all adult Canadians consider taking 1000 IU of vitamin D.
A randomized intervention study involving 1,200 women, published in June 2007, reports that vitamin D supplementation (1,100 international units (IU) / day) resulted in a 60% reduction in cancer incidence, during a four-year clinical trial. This rises to a 77% reduction if cancers are  diagnosed in the first year.
